"Genuine care, remarkable dentistry." That is the promise from Park Road Dental, a family-owned, local dental practice at 155 Park Road, Cheltenham, caring for the whole family, from regular check-ups to implants, braces and clear aligners.
Established in the 1970s, under new ownership
According to the practice, Park Road Dental was established in the 1970s and has served the local community for decades. In early 2025 it was acquired by principal dentists Dr James Lee and Dr Harold Lee, who now own and operate it. It is a three-chair practice, welcoming new patients from Cheltenham, Mentone, Highett, Moorabbin and Beaumaris, and no referral is needed to book.
Dr Harold Lee is described as co-owner and principal dentist with a special interest in implant and cosmetic dentistry, holding a Bachelor of Oral Health and a Master of Dentistry. Dr James Lee, also co-owner and principal dentist, leads the practice's implant and digital dentistry, including same-day crowns. Every dentist and hygienist is registered with AHPRA, the practice says.
Long-standing local care meets digital dentistry
The practice says it combines long-standing local care with digital dentistry. It provides CEREC and Primescan same-day crowns, designed and milled in-house so that many crowns are fitted in a single visit. It also plans and places implants on site rather than referring them out, with both the surgical and restorative stages carried out by Dr James Lee and Dr Harold Lee. Treatment is planned from a 3D scan, with no moulds, and explained in stages from your first scan to your final tooth.
Services
The services page groups care into four areas: general and preventive dentistry; crowns, dentures and replacing missing teeth; cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics; and appliances and sleep. The practice lists braces and clear aligners for teens and adults, planned from a digital scan, with near-invisible aligner trays you swap at home or dependable braces adjusted at the practice.
Evenings and Saturdays
The practice is open six days a week. According to its website, it opens Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 6pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 8pm with late evening appointments, Friday from 8am to 5.30pm and Saturday from 8.30am to noon. It is closed on Sunday. All major Australian health funds are accepted and claimed on the spot, so patients with extras cover can claim their rebate at the practice and pay only the gap.
